1) From Royal College of Psychiatrists: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) , basically a talking treatment (word expression) is effective in the following: It has been found to be helpful in:

 Depression (severe unhappiness)

 Agoraphobia and other phobias
 Social phobia

 Obsessive compulsive disorder
 Post traumatic stress disorder
